TOURNAMENTS:

We run a variety of tennis tournaments, and are happy to help you run tournaments at your club.

GRASSHOPPER TOURNAMENTS:

Grasshopper Challenger Tournaments are round robin participation tournaments designed for the players who are not yet ready to play in the local association or regional tournaments, but are playing matches and would like to experience tournament play. Matches are 20 mins in length, using tennis scoring, played on a full court but with 75% compression tennis balls to help make the rallies longer.

GRASSHOPPER TOURNAMENTS:

Grasshopper Tournaments are the first stage of competition for new players 6-10 years of age. The tournaments are run on modified courts using soft or low compression tennis balls, with lots of quick matches giving the players a fun introduction to competition.

TOP DOG TOURNAMENTS:

Top Dog is the NZ Tennis ranking system that takes all of the players results from competition matches to give them ranking points. We run top dog ranking tournaments in a round robin format where players are in their Top Dog ranking grade. The players get a lot of match play at a competitive level for them in a short space of time.

CLUB FUN TOURNAMENTS:

We can organise and run social tournaments in a number of formats for lengths of time to suit your club. Entry fees per player include light snacks on the day, and prizes for the winning teams.
